So, all of the planning and strategizing finally came to fruition with my first photoshoot. The first display of product and talent. It had to be good! I chose the colors of pale pink and black because it was pretty, feminine, and is a good display without pigeon-holing myself into a specific style. It gave me room to be creative.
This design board started as a post for my personal blog and I was lucky enough to turn it into this:
I couldn't keep the smile off of my face when I finished setting up this table at the studio! It just turned out so great!

Pink champagne cupcakes with a vanilla butter cream icing. Dainty in appearance and taste!
Homemade marshmallows dipped in "pink" white chocolate and nonpareils. The stick is actually a "pocky" stick which is like a wafer dipped in strawberry cream. So, you can eat the whole thing! Yum!
Champagne with pink rock candy stirrers and some sweet kettle corn in customized boxes completed the table. The overall feel was light, airy, and delicate.

Then, my wonderful photographer, George Dean, got the idea to switch to a darker background to change the feel. The brown made the table rich and warm feeling. It's almost like I set up two different dessert bars. And don't these photos look amazing?
I had such a fun time setting this up and hanging out at the studio with George and I really couldn't be happier with the outcome. The best thing about George was that he was just as excited about my product as I was and I couldn't be more greatful for his help!
So, there it is. The recap of one of my first motions towards a beautiful and creative new business! Please be sure to see these photos in action on my website!
